Tumbleman to continue recording at Prairie Sun in October with Oz Fritz.

Brian Franklin and his band Tumbleman has announced it will continue recording its debut album at Prairie Sun studios in Sonoma California. Prairie Sun was the site that both Tom Waits and John Hammond (among others) recorded their last albums.

"Prairie Sun is well known for it's live sounds, and country setting. With Oz as familiar with the place as he is, and the vibe there - it seems to be the perfect place to finish," stated Franklin. Most of the rythym tracks were recorded in Palm Beach County, Florida, at Elysian Studios.

The current plan is to finish 4-6 songs and distribute them to fans while the remainder of the album - 18 songs in all - is finished. The album is being produced by Oz Fritz, who has recorded and mixed recent albums by Tom Waits, John Hammond, Oysterhead, Primus, and others.
