the studio. Some of you may remember that I started a band album a number of years ago, co-produced and engineered by Oz Fritz (engineer and mixer for Tom Waits, John Hammond, Oysterhead, Primus, and more). Though it was never officially released, over the years I've posted rough mixes of some of the songs on my audio page (www.tumbleman.com/dfaudio.asp). Well... I'm pleased to announce that thanks to the wonders of technology, I've been able to resume work on it. It's a vastly different sounding album than Desert Farmer... Wider in scope. I'm excited and will let you know how it progresses. I also recently cut a song produced by Bobby MacIntyre (Twilight Singers, Alex Diaz) which should be done by the end of summer. In the meantime, Desert Farmer (my latest album) is available for purchase via cdbaby.com (http://www.cdbaby.com/brianfranklin) as well as through itunes (go to the music store and search for me or Desert Farmer) and Rhapsody music services. If you haven't picked one up yet, please check out the clips. I also have Desert Farmer tshirts at www.tumbleman.com/dfmerch.asp. | |
